A look back at the clients, milestones, lessons, and little moments that made these last four years unforgettable.
Four Years…
Four years.
Honestly… that doesn’t even feel real to say.
Some days it feels like Young Wealth Co. has always existed.
Other days it feels like I was just sitting at my kitchen table wondering if anyone would actually trust me with their business finances.
Back then, I had no idea what these four years would hold.
I didn’t know the incredible clients I’d get to work alongside.
I didn’t know how many businesses I’d watch grow.
I definitely didn’t know how many software glitches, tax season surprises, and late-night problem-solving sessions were ahead of us.
There were moments when this business looked small from the outside.
Just a girl with a laptop trying to build something.
Some people probably saw a side hustle.
It started as one client, one laptop, and a dream that felt much bigger to me than it probably did to anyone else.
Looking back now, I’m really grateful I kept showing up anyway.
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned…
It’s that this business has never really been about bookkeeping.
It’s about people.
Helping business owners sleep a little better at night.
Celebrating milestones together.
Working through hard seasons together.
Building businesses that don’t just survive – but truly thrive.
Looking back over these last four years has reminded me just how much can happen when you simply keep showing up.
So, I thought it’d be fun to take a little trip down memory lane and share some of the highlights with you.
The Number That Means the Most to Me
People often ask me what I’m most proud of after four years in business.
Is it serving over 50 incredible clients?
Managing more than $7 million in revenue?
Helping businesses increase their profits?
Those are all milestones I’m incredibly thankful for.
But if I’m being honest…
This one will probably always be my favorite.
Over $100,000 in debt paid off.
Not because Young Wealth Co. magically made that happen.
But because I’ve had a front-row seat watching hardworking business owners make intentional financial decisions month after month.
I’ve celebrated with clients after they paid off credit cards they thought they’d be carrying for years.
I’ve watched business owners become completely debt free.
I’ve seen the relief that comes from finally lifting that financial weight off their shoulders.
To me, that’s what this work is really about.
Helping people create financial freedom.
And getting to celebrate those wins alongside them has been one of the greatest privileges of my career.

100% of our bookkeeping clean-up clients over the last 15 months have stayed on as monthly bookkeeping clients.
That says so much more than client retention.
It tells me people feel supported.
It tells me they finally have clarity.
And once they experience what organized, accurate bookkeeping feels like…
They don’t want to go back.
That means the world to me.
The Reality of Running a Business
Can I share something that’s just as important?
Not every client stays forever.
Over the last 15 months (approximately), we’ve said goodbye to three clients.
Not because something went wrong.
Life simply changed.
One business closed.
Another paused during maternity leave.
Another stepped away because life took them in a different direction.
I wanted to share this because social media sometimes makes it seem like successful businesses never lose clients.
That’s simply not reality.
Businesses evolve.
People evolve.
And sometimes serving someone well means cheering them on into their next chapter—even if that chapter no longer includes you.
There’s room for honesty in business, too.
The Moments You Don’t Always See
You see the polished Instagram posts.
The organized financial reports.
The monthly emails.
What you don’t always see…
The tax season marathons.
The software integrations that suddenly stop syncing.
The frantic phone calls.
The “Why won’t this reconcile?” moments.
The coffee.
Lots and lots of coffee.
And yes…
Probably about one gajillion software errors along the way.
Thankfully, we’ve survived every single one so far. 😂
